Decathlon
Decathlon is a French sporting goods retailer, with over 1500 stores in 49 countries, it is the largest sporting goods retailer. We’ve designed and developed the new mobile applications for Decathlon Hungary in partnership with ACG. The mobile applications interfaces received a fresh polished clean design, that enable users a smooth navigation on iOS and Android platforms. Due to the secured and stabile operation continuous user growth is supported.
The challenge
We’ve faced many challenges during the planning of Decathlon’s mobile applications. One of the greatest challenge was to plan and create an interface, that all age groups can use, easily navigate and where the functioning is clear and on place. Furthermore, we’ve built a backend server that is able to serve thousands of users at the same time. Due to the international background the servers had to communicate with several independent systems. Before the release, the whole system underwent a full-cycle penetration test in order to certify safe operation. The end result speaks for itself. Based on the client’s feedback we’ve accomplished, what we’ve planned. The application has clean and stunning interfaces, where users can easily find the content they are looking for. The application due to the stable operation, attracts more and more happy users.
